We’re looking for volunteers to lend a hand during our upcoming Gaeltacht work days to help maintain the Gaeltacht site in Tamworth, Ontario! Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, all are welcome. There are volunteer tasks for all abilities. These work days are a great chance to connect with the land, practice your Irish, and enjoy good company while helping to care for our shared space.
What to Bring:
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots suitable for outdoor work. We recommend bringing work gloves, sunscreen, and anything else you might need to stay comfortable, like a hat or insect repellent. Don’t forget to pack some food and plenty of water or other drinks to keep you going!
